  1. BEAUTIFUL FLAN :) She makes it the same way I do (except she adds those nice pumpkin pie spices)

Talking about flan I improvised a coffee flan today that I will flip over tomorrow (made it specifically for my mother she LOVES COFFEE and has been asking me for one) I simply whisked 1 can condensed milk, 1 evaporated milk, 3 cups milk, 1/2 cup sugar, and 6 teaspoonfuls instant coffee powder, brought it to a boil, whisking, and then slowly streamed and beat it with 8 eggs and into caramelized molds it went in a water bath. It set really well, I'm anxious to try it tomorrow :)

  2. I just saw her coconut flan recipe YUM!!!!!!!!!! (I've never successfully made one, I mean I have but never one that I would like to make again, I'm a fan of coconut so I'll probably try her's, on one attempt to make a coconut flan I used coconut cream the thick unsweetened thai one's but overpowered it with vanilla and it tasted like an amazing typical flan without the coconut LOL. then my other attempt the texture was TOOO dense and creamy liek TOO MUCH because I used the same type of rich coconut cream with condensed milk... I'll have to try her's sometime or something similar to it)

  3. Thanks, Ivonne! I appreciate it.
And Nathan, the coconut flan from the blog comes out great. You should try it! The coffee flan sounds intriguing but I can imagine how "alterado" one can get with that much coffee & sugar! Let us know how it tasted.
    Thanks for the compliments!
